And now BHS can

Function has been contracted by British Home Stores to carry out a series of internal moves at their Head Office premises in London as part of a re-organisation project.

The move last weekend gave us a challenge. BHS didn’t have the internal resources to decom/recom and re-programme the telephone handsets so it was looking as though no-one would be able to make or receive phone calls on their extensions until late Monday afternoon..

Function were able to supply a telecoms engineer to sort it out over the weekend as part of the move team to ensure that personnel were fully operational on the Monday morning when they returned to work. This was all part of Function's Monday morning ‘certainty’ guarantee!

Team Function Go for Gold!

For Function second place was not an option....

.... and they really won gold when they were awarded the move contract for the British Olympic Association and the British Paralympic Association. They moved from two different locations to there new head office in Charlotte Street over a single phase.

The BOA moved from four adjoined town house style properties with lots of stairs and although this made the move a bit of a marathon, Function made a sprint for the finish line and completed the moves on time and within agreed budgets.

Function also supplied IT engineers to complete the decom/recom the desktop IT equipment. This included the demounting and remounting of monitors and monitor arms.

Clear Environment are coordinating the clearance of the redundant furniture from the existing sites.

on the Paris Fashion Week catwalks but the Function mice were playing back at base. With most of the staff in France, the office move across Mayfair to Cavendish Square transpired including relocating a very impressive archive of clothing and shoes.
