RPS, the international consultancy, needed to move 170 people from two sites into a new central London base. Two days before the planned move it came to light that another move had been planned for the same building at the new address. We dropped everything and started the same day, bringing the whole move forward by 48 hours. The client was "extremely impressed" (and frankly so were we!). That left us with the disposal of surplus furniture. We were on another tight deadline as we had to give the keys back to landlord on a specific day otherwise the client would have been hit with huge bills. Deadlines....of course we met it - Function delivers certainty!
