DBC Foodservices gave Function the equivalent of three Michelin stars for its recent HQ move across Welwyn Garden City. 120 people were shifted across the two miles with selected furniture, fireproof safes, photocopiers and IT equipment. Function brought in a specialist server engineer to demount the server racking and rebuild in a new configuration in its new home. DBC used Function's pre and post move helping hands service for a move that was completed between Friday at 3pm and Friday evening. Function's used to overcoming hurdles with jobs but an unusual twist was that the move was during the England/Algeria World Cup match. The team was handpicked for the job which wouldn't include a 90 minute tea-break. The account manager wished he'd joined them instead of watching the painful game!
