Citadel Investment Managers
When global investment managers Citadel set up their London headquarters, Function provided a turn-key solution. Furniture was imported from the USA and Function was on hand to liaise with the import agents and Customs and Excise to get the shipment cleared in time for the installation. The result was a well-organised operation which saw Citadel up and running and ready for business on schedule. Function continues to provide workplace services to Citadel.
Cinven
With offices in London, Paris, Frankfurt and Milan, investment bankers Cinven appointed Function to provide move-management services in a three-phase refurbishment programme of their London office. Function was on site to manage each phase of the project and attended weekly project meetings to update the client on progress throughout the move.
Phase one saw approximately half of the staff relocate to new premises in Paternoster House E1, while phase two involved moving the remainder of staff from the fifth floor of Warwick Court to the ground floor of a temporary location in Warwick Court WC1, so the fifth floor could be refurbished. Function provided hire furniture during this phase while Cinven’s new furniture was kept protected in an off-site storage facility. Once refurbishment of the fifth floor was completed, Function installed Cinven’s new furniture and moved staff back up to there.
